We cannot thank you enough for all you did for us for our wedding. It was absolutely magical!! Everything, and I mean everything, turned out just as we envisioned it would be!! The weather was perfect, Sapphire Point was amazing (even Jeff was so happy we decided to do it there), the tourists were respectful, Tonda did an exceptional job with my hair and makeup, Breck Hair Salon made me feel like a princess, Leslie did a great job with our ceremony and we loved how she included our boys during the ceremony, Leisa was just phenomenal and laid back and we can not wait to see her photos, and my flowers….oh my heavens, Petal and Bean made my bouquet dreams come true!! They were just stunning and exactly what I wanted. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Our Colorado wedding could not have been more perfect. You all will hold a special place in our hearts, and one day we hope to call Colorado “home”.

Summit Mountain Weddings, aka BreckWeddings.com (we like short domains best), is the original wedding blog for Breckenridge and the Summit County area and is the industry leader for location information regarding first-hand knowledge of venues, vendors and services.
We’ve been working on the best online resource for mountain celebrations since 2011, and it’s only getting better. Please contact us to learn how we can help you save time and money. Start right now by reading articles on our blog, including real weddings (photographers submit here), check out professional wedding vendors and services on our directory (vendors join here), and explore venues (venues increase your reach).
WHO WE ARE
Want to know who’s been putting all this together? We are Dina and Stacy Sanchez, former owners of Breckenridge, Colorado flower shop, Petal and Bean. We have both lived here for almost twenty years. Dina has created wedding flowers and planned events for over 1,000 weddings in her career as a professional florist. Stacy joined the team in 2004 and quickly brought the shop into the modern age with a blog and social media presence that grew into the blog you’re reading now.
We know all about planning a mountain wedding. We live here, are in the industry, and it was still an adventure putting it all together. We were married on the shores of Lake Dillon in Frisco and had their reception in Breckenridge after a near capsize during a post-ceremony pontoon parade. Ask us about it, we’ve survived to tell that story and many others. We’re here to help.

Q. DO YOU OFFER HELP FINDING A CEREMONY SITE AND RECEPTION VENUE?
Q. DO YOU OFFER “DAY OF” WEDDING PLANNING PACKAGES?
A.Yes. We work with Petal and Bean as a preferred partner, to work with you , going over all the details, and then are there the “day of” for wedding management duties and timeline assistance.
Q. DO YOU ONLY POST PHOTOS FROM SUMMIT COUNTY ON YOUR BLOG?
A. No. We have creative freedom with this site and will share interesting content that is hand-picked. One example is our cliffhanger photo shoot that was actually taken out east.
Q. DO YOU OFFER HELP WITH ENGAGEMENT PHOTO SHOOTS?
A. Yes. We will talk with you and organize some fun locations with a photographer that matches your style and budget. We recommend doing some kind of activity and have your photographer tag along!
Q. WHAT KIND OF CEREMONY OPTIONS DO I HAVE?
A. Traditional venues fill up fast, which is why private home rentals are increasingly popular. Alternative venues are not easily found, as all wedding planning takes time. Contact us for off-the-beaten-path ceremony locations that don’t involve roads or pavement.
Q. WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE?
A. Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Dillon, Frisco, Keystone, Silverthorne, Vail and Beaver Creek. Special requests welcome.
Q. HOW MUCH DOES YOUR SERVICE COST?
A. Please contact us to learn about our package prices. No two weddings are the same, so pricing is different for every client.
Q. WHERE DO YOU GET A MARRIAGE LICENSE IN BRECKENRIDGE?
A. At the old county courthouse in downtown Breckenridge.
Q. HOW DO WE GET STARTED?
A. Please fill out the form on our contact page, so that we can find out what you’re needing help with. Give us your information with your event’s overall style and theme, your budget and we’ll figure out how to personalize your day. It’s going to be fun, so let’s get the party started!
Q. DO YOU HELP WITH REHEARSAL DINNERS?
A. Yes. We offer that service in our top-level wedding planning packages. If you want us there, we will be there to help ease the stress of keeping track of everything yourself. This will help you enjoy the day more, without burdening friends and family with duties and chores that they shouldn’t be doing.
