Father Dyer United Methodist Church in Breckenridge, Colorado

There’s a place just off Main Street that couples pick for the wedding ceremony, and that’s the Father Dyer United Methodist Church in Breckenridge, Colorado. This church was named after the “snowshoe itinerant” of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and is a nice option for your mountain nuptials.

Today the snow is back. Yesterday was clear and sunny. I walked to work and this was the view. // #breck #brecklife #breckbecause #breckenridge #colorado #summitcounty #sumco

The Oh Be Joyful Lodge at the Breckenridge Nordic Center [Venue]

These are probably going to be the worst images you’ll ever see of the Oh Be Joyful Lodge at the Breckenridge Nordic Center, a new event venue available for rental very, very soon. I was actually delivering some birthday flowers from the daughter to one of the owners of the facility before popping my head into the construction zone. The workers moved fast and communicated while I was there snapping these pics with my phone.

We’ll be keeping an eye on the development and availability of this new wedding venue in Breckenridge, Colorado. it’s just up the road from the downtown area, and you fly right over it when you’re in the gondola headed up to Peak 8 to ride.

If you’re in town for a few days and want to take a break from the downhill stuff, head over to the nordic center in Breck, there’s one in Frisco too, and strap on a set of snowshoes or rent cross country skis and explore the mountains from a different perspective.

Please contact us to learn more about planning a wedding in Breckenridge, possibly using this venue, and possibly going snowshoeing or xc skiing. We’ll help steer you towards the best resources for your goals and vendor budgets.

So, hopefully these will be the worst pics you’ll ever see of this place. Once the construction phase is over, the friends and famiies will use this lodge to gather. And it will be good. And the photos? Much better. With people. And love. Thanks for reading, and please share with someone you know that needs to see this place!

The Grand Hall at Copper Station in Copper Mountain, Colorado

One of our favorite wedding venues in the high country is the Grand Hall at Copper Station in Copper Mountain, Colorado. Not only is there a rain back-up location, but there are a few different options for ceremonies. Some chose the space outside the venue, while others choose the grassy slopes that turn into snow-covered ski slopes in the winter.

See this venue and others on our Pinterest board that’s all things wedding venues in Summit County, Colorado. You won’t this many photos of mountain wedding venues on any other blog like this one. If you do, please contact us, so we can check it out. Otherwise, contact us to tell us how much you’ve learned from our blog, and to tell us how we can help you best. Thanks!
